How do I get help with website changes?

What is covered?

What about WooCommerce Support?

We can help you manage your store with unlimited WooCommerce Support. Helping you with better product descriptions, shop SEO, coupons, and more. Taking your shop to the next level by adding the right headlines, improving keyphrase placements and adding call-to-action for more sales and lead collection.

How often can I request support?

You can request support through our online ticket system as often as you need. We will provide advise or make changes to your site based on your request. We desire that you limit your tickets to one active ticket per session.

  • Content support tickets are limited to 1-hour duration each. A request that takes longer than an hour would be considered a development service and will require a quote from our development team. But hey we’re pretty awesome so if it takes an hour and a half we’ll let it slide.
How many sites are covered for an account?

Under the Basic Plan, each account covers one site (domain) with a single login. Business and Agency Plans support unlimited sites/domains with multiple logins and a centralized dashboard for streamlined support and management.

Can I call to open a support request?

We prefer that you open the support request online, but in the event, you aren’t able a tech will create the ticket for you by phone

What are the wait times, how long before you can get to my request?

Support tickets are handled in priority sequence, most tickets are answered and completed within 24hours, depending on the task. Some requests require multiple days.

We do offer Emergency Support Service for a fee that will bump you to the top of the list and get your issue started asap (average response time is 5-8mins regular during business hours EST).

I have an emergency and need help right away!

Our Support tickets are handled in a sequential order, but if you are experiencing an emergency situation and need instant support you can upgrade your ticket for an additional fee

What Isn't Covered?

The general rule is that if tasks requested in a support ticket are going to take more than an hour, they are considered development, not support. For instance, adding new content to your site requires you to supply the imagery and written copy for the new page, post, etc. If you wish for Press Hero to create content, this is considered a project. Custom-coded functions or features for your site are also considered projects and not covered under unlimited support. Contact us for a quote for projects under our development services. 

Managing Your Account

Do you offer a free trial?

No, unfortunately not. Due to the nature of our services, we’re unable to provide a free trial. In the event, you are not happy with the service you can cancel anytime, no contracts or cancellation fees.

How do I pay?

We can help you adjust or change any existing item on your site, add and style new pages and content. Everything from text and images to speed optimizations and SEO plus much more!

Is there a contract?

No contract, commitment or cancellation fee, you can cancel anytime.

How do I manage my account?

Simply click the “account” link in the header or footer. 

You can access your account after logging into the “My Account” area.

Your subscription status, payment details, invoices and other profile information are all accessible online from your dashboard. 

How do I cancel my account?

You can cancel your subscription anytime from the Account Dashboard.

Can I get a refund?

If you don’t use the service within the first 30 days of sign-up we will issue a 100% refund, after the first month or any renewal the subscription is no longer eligible for a refund, even if you haven’t used it during the current or previous period.

Dedicated development is what we refer to as our subscription-based approach to WordPress design and development. It’s a more collaborative method than what many businesses are used to. Do you write content?

Yes. PressHero offers professional content writing as part of its Web design and development process, as well as content marketing in SEM subscriptions.

Are blog articles included with website development?

Not by default, but blog content can be written upon request as part of the website design and development process. SEM subscriptions, a natural next step after a new site launches, include content marketing and blogging. You can also request blog optimization for content you have prepared yourself through your membership’s support ticket system.

Is SEO included with website development?

Ongoing, in-depth SEO services are offered through PressHero’s Dedicated SEO service subscriptions. However, new websites are developed to be “SEO-Ready” with optimized site structure and meta for indexing and speed, clear content hierarchy and mobile-responsive layouts.  We highly recommend SEO as the next step once your newly developed website launches. Will my new website work on mobile devices?

Absolutely. All websites developed by PressHero are mobile-responsive by default, optimized for performance and user experience across all standard screen sizes.

What happens after my website is launched?

Once your site is live, it’s re-tested for functionality and performance. You will receive administrator logins and a general overview of backend functionality. We encourage continued unlimited support to keep the site up-to-date, secure, and running smoothly.

Do you host websites?

Yes. PressHero offers fast and reliable annual WordPress-specific hosting plans to our unlimited support members. This includes website monitoring, maintenance, and uptime checks.

How do I get my website address (URL)

Typically, you provide PressHero with your domain name (URL), which can be purchased from an accredited domain registrar, like GoDaddy, Google Domains, Namecheap, and others. Use the registrar’s website to search for available domains, then register it by paying an annual fee set to automatically renew.

Your domain can be managed with PressHero’s assistance during development to connect, configure, and transfer to your hosting platform. Continued management is available through the unlimited support membership with delegated access.  You always maintain ownership of your domain.

What is an SSL certificate?

An SSL certificate encrypts data between your website and its visitors for security. It’s essential for trust and credibility, enabling “HTTPS” in your URL. SSL support is included with your website hosting and setup through PressHero.

Do you guarantee first-page rankings?

 No ethical SEO provider can guarantee first-page rankings, but we use proven strategies to improve your visibility and keyword rankings over time.

Can I cancel my SEO subscription anytime?

Yes. All SEO and support subscriptions are month-to-month with no contracts or cancellation fees. You can pause, stop, or restart as needed.

How do you choose keywords for my business?

Do you provide content as part of SEO?

Do I get monthly SEO reports?

Do you help with Google Business Profile optimization?

For Google Business Profile optimization and other social platforms, you will need to upgrade to an SEM subscription, as this is considered part of digital marketing. This will include keyword optimization, profile completion, local SEO improvements and ensuring consistency across all listings.

Do I need a large budget to get started with SEM?

 No. We work with a range of ad budgets and can tailor a campaign to fit your goals, but a minimum recommended spend is typically around $1500. This is in addition to your SEM Digital Marketing subscription.  

Do your SEM services include ad copy and design?

 Yes, we handle everything from ad copywriting to image design (if applicable), tailored to your target audience and campaign goals.

How often do you optimize campaigns?

 Campaigns are monitored and optimized regularly—often weekly or even daily during high-activity periods.

Do you charge a percentage of the ad spend or a flat rate?

Our pricing for ad management is included in your SEM subscription. This is separate from your ad spend budget, which will be billed separately by the ad platform directly to you. This keeps things predictable and transparent.

Will I have access to my ad accounts?

Yes, we believe in transparency. You will retain full access and ownership of all ad accounts we manage.

How do you measure success in SEM?

We track key performance indicators (KPIs) like cost-per-click (CPC), click-through rate (CTR), conversion rate, and return on ad spend (ROAS).

Is there a contract for SEM services?

No. Like all PressHero services, SEM subscriptions are month-to-month with no contracts.
